About me

I acquired my Masters in Social Work from Trinity College Dublin in 2019. I bring over 10 years of experience working in both traditional and non-traditional mental health settings, supporting a wide range of individuals and communities. My work has included partnering with formerly unhoused men navigating addiction and mental health challenges, children in the Irish foster care system, and children and adults in outpatient care, as well as working with diverse ethnic minority communities both locally and internationally. This work has deeply shaped my passion for therapy and continues to remind me that our mental health isn’t just something that exists individually in a vacuum—it’s also influenced by the many layers of our identities, relationships, and the broader cultural and societal systems we live within.

I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communication, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Social Studies.

In my spare time, I’m typically taking long walks with my husband, daughter and dog, Charlie, traveling, cooking, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and binging the latest television show, both scripted and reality.

My Approach

I aim to create a supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace—without judgment. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, warmth, and respect for each person’s unique story, as you are the expert in your own life. I believe in holistic, integrative therapy, and I blend elements from various approaches throughout treatment, including Cognitive Based Therapy (CBT), Humanistic, Person-Centered, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, OCD, sadness, grief or loss, adjusting to a life transition, or seeking to reconnect with yourself, you are taking steps to honor your needs—I commend you, and I hope to support you in that process!
